FAQs
Find answers to the most commonly asked questions about Akonnect and its features.
You can sign up using four different options:
- Mahatma I-Card: This is highly recommended if you already have a mahatma I-Card.
- Email: Sign up using your regular email address.
- Mobile Number: Sign up using your phone number.
- Google Sign-In: Sign in instantly using your existing Google account.
- App Language is chosen when you first open the app and controls the language for all menus, buttons, and settings labels.
- Message Language is chosen at the end of signing up and determines the language of the news updates and spiritual messages you receive (Gujarati, Hindi, or English).
You can easily change both of these at any time in the Settings menu.
Tap the quick-access Scanner icon in the top-right corner of your main Inbox screen.
Grant location permission (select "While using the App") so the system can verify you are at the center.
Your camera scanner will open automatically—simply point it at the official center QR code to record your attendance instantly.
Tap the I-Card tab at the bottom menu of the app.
Tap the 3 lines at the top left and select New I-Card Application.
If you already have a temporary "Z-Number," type it in and tap SHOW DETAILS to bring up your info.
If you do not have a Z-Number, simply tap New Application.
Choose your country and accept the terms to continue.
In the Live menu, tap the language tabs at the top of the screen to instantly change the audio translation language.
You can tap Share to send the video link to friends, tap YouTube to open the live feed inside the YouTube app.
Roaming City is a feature you use when traveling away from home.
It allows you to add a temporary city so that you can receive localized updates and notifications for both your home city and the city you are visiting.
For example, if you live in Mumbai and visit Adalaj, you can add Adalaj to get updates for both places.
You can easily remove it once you return home.
